Bid In The Room

We welcome all types of buyers to attend our auctions, whether you are at auctions every day of the week or are about to make your first visit to experience the buzz of a live auction.

Bid Online

All of our auctions offer live online bidding facilities. Just click the link to our Auction Sale Room and you can bid from the comfort of your own home. If you’re not able to listen live, you can also leave your maximum bid online.

Commission Bids

If telephoning or emailing to leave commission bids, we will require your details. Please make sure you do this in good time. 

Telephone Bid

We are happy to offer telephone bidding facilities, however, as a telephone bidder you must be quick to make that decision. It is always a good idea to advise our representative on what you want.

Postage and Packing

We are pleased to be able to offer buyers our in-house postage and packaging service. Note that when you receive your invoice, post/packing information will already be on the invoice. This, of course, will speed the process for us both. Also note, we will not send glass framed items through the post.

Payment

If you are attending an auction, you can of course pay by cash or debit card. When winning online, we would prefer payment by Bacs or debit card up to a limit. We will accept cheques also. We would require you to pay your invoice within a week.

Collection of Goods

Goods can be collected from the shop during working hours. It is always worth contacting us, just to confirm when you would like to come and collect so we can get everything ready for you.

We want to sell your items. We accept entries for all our auctions Monday to Saturday 10am – 3pm, but note we are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

A regular thing is house calls. We deal with a lot of probate situations, but many others are simply garages, sheds and lofts that need to be cleared out. We accept collections large and small and there is no fuss. Leave it to us to sort and get your items ready to maximise the value.

Our sell rate is normally 95%+, and we are realistic about values, so most of the time items will find their value. At a previous auction in February 2021, we managed to sell ALL of the 471 lots in the auction (a first for us)!

*Please note that home visits and sorting out a collection does not limit us to local calls only. Our most recent collections have been from Dorset and Sussex!

We are also happy to undertake valuations for you. We can value for probate and we can value on the phone, via email, etc. We are always available to assist with your valuation needs at the shop as well!
